I had the morning off and that Canadian wildfire haze was just calling my name. 5.2 hilly miles. About 75°f felt great except the slight burning in my throat.

My boy is on the XC team for U of Rochester. He said he did what he (and his teammates) seldom do because of the air quality. He ran on the treadmill!!
Don't know how long he went, but I suspect that it was long and boring.

Air quality warning fortunately canceled this evening. 11K run.

Smoke was bad here last week, much improved now.
I did a double threshold workout on Tuesday.
AM 6.6 miles with reps of 3,4,5,5,4,3 minutes, ladder at a notch below anaerobic threshold (based on effort and heart rate).
PM 4.5 miles with 6X 90 sec reps, 1 minute recovery those were faster but with the recovery my HR stayed in that moderate range
Racing a 5K this weekend.
