Temperature down 50 degrees today compared to Thursday's 99.

5K race in Denver. 19:09, 85.8% age grade (14:58). I was really hoping to break 19, and also wanted to take it out a little more aggressively than previous 5Ks this year (ran two in July). I did that (5:58 1st mile) but couldn't hold the pace. 2nd masters and 1st in age group today.

Nice work Coyote. Wonder how much the altitude in Denver also effects the graded time?

I have a calculator based off the NCAA conversion charts, which are based off Jack Daniels/Joe Vigil et al. research. So for my time at 5300' yesterday it was about 34 seconds.
