Ran an unknown distance on the trails with my dog for about 50 minutes.

Ran 11.4km flat road with group of 4.
I don’t do many group runs but this was a good group planning a specific pace (“9:00-10:00 miles” they said), of course they tended to stick pretty close to the 9:00 edge of the range.
Good practice for me pacing myself, each kilometer was 6:00 or better (5:37 fastest split) and best of all I got to draft into the strong headwind on the return leg!
I never went red zone, but for me was a good solid tempo run at pretty close to my 30/40/50k or Marathon race effort.
Easy recovery run for them though. ;)
