Track workout today! My first sprint workout in a year – since they canceled National Masters indoors.
I wanted to get out there before it got too hot, but it was already up into the 50s.
Jog 800 m, 20 minutes dynamic stretching and sprint warm-ups.
6 x 150m @70%. The first couple were fast, but then I ran out of steam. Also, pushing age 62 I’m not exactly sure what my target time should be and whether that was truly 70%. Onward and upward!

Wore the wrong shoes down to work this morning. My cheapie $50 Fila trail shoes. Felt the lack of decent cushioning with the run commute back home. Kind of like when I first started running and alternated between my $10 Sears Sonic joggers, and my real $20 Adidas ROM runners. 11.3K
