8.6 on rolling terrain with 4X 4 minute reps (1:20 recovery) and 4X hill repeats.
The wind and hills make any sort of rhythm impossible. Paces were 6:26 (tailwind but a big hill) to start and finish, 6:08 (favorable crosswind, mix of downhill and flat), 6:42 (big effin uphill (120 feet, crosswind), 6:52 mostly flat but into 15-20 mph headwind). Running a race on this course this weekend. It won't be fast.

Back to normal temps a few degrees below freezing. 12.K

6.2km run/walk on a wet concrete multi use path. 9*C and 71%, ran in between the waves of rainstorms.
First “real” run workout after yesterday’s failed attempt. Alternated running each even kilometer, plus some. By time, about 45% run/55% walk.
Did great with my HR zone targets, low-to-mid zone 2. Fastest km 7:16.
The cedar waxwings were out in force, too!
