My first injury recovery workout.
1.75 miles at at a 34:58 per mile pace. Average heart rate 84 BPM despite the heat.
Lots of looping on this very close to home route I nickname "mowing the lawn". Did a air blower on the walkways cooldown and called it good.

8.2 with reps of 1200, 1000, 900, 2X600, 2X300, and 2X200 meters ratcheting down from CV effort to sub mile pace. All with about a 1:10-1:15 recovery on average (1:30 for the first one).

Rain showers were kind enough to just about end as I headed out this morning for 13K.
