19.5K on a sunny but a little cold, just above freezing last Sunday of Winter. Lot less cars on the road since there is no where to go as more public attractions and some stores have closed. Seems like going for a walk with the family and dog is the thing to do, as the parks I ran through had a good 50% increase in foot traffic. Playgrounds were not as busy as they usually are on a Sunday afternoon.

We took our dog for a walk in the afternoon, too. DH has new crutches that make it easier.
Ran 5 easy trail miles this morning with a friend. She's recovering from a 50k last weekend and it was a perfect pace to let me recover from yesterday. Absolutely gorgeous out instead of the rain they forecast.

Yeah I did the 800 m time trial, as described in the other thread. Here are the down and dirty details
Nice sunny afternoon (50 F) with a bit of a breeze down the back stretch.
I warmed up for 20 minutes and did some drills and strides. I had timed a few strides over the week and was about 21 sec for 100 m, so that's the effort I aimed for. First lap 82, felt pretty decent. 2nd lap was hard, especially on that back stretch and far turn into the wind. I really slowed there. And couldn't believe how slow I was running, while a the same time knowing that this was all out. #shapematters. Had a bit left for the final 80 meters and picked it up some.
I thought a 2:40 would be best case, and 2:45 to 2:50 would be more realistic. So 2:46 was about what I could expect. Coughing, wheezing and hacking for the rest of the day and into this morning. I don't think mid-d time trials may be the greatest idea right now. So if the forum group decides on a 1000 m or 2000 or 1500, etc. this month I'll pass in favor of a longer outing.
