30 minutes on the dreadmill. Nasty as all hell out there, near freezing rain and icy.

Dodging the winds.
8.9 mid-day with a 5 mile tempo on a somewhat sheltered bike path - first 3 miles net up about 140-150 feet, then down 2 miles, dropping 80 feet - 6:39 pace up, 6:21 down.
easy 3 mile on treadmill later in the day - winds outside whipping at 50 mph

8 miles with some repeats at 6:45
3300 yard swim. Swim coach at UW asks
“Are you a masters swimmer or triathlete”? He would have had to ask if he stayed to watch my backstroke or flip turns🤪
