Called a cheat maybe in jest, but even in that context--and been otherwise snubbed.
On another running forum they are doing a sprint and middle-distance challenge, starting with a half K time trial. They set up a masters group, but a couple of 'em specifically asked that I don't join their group because I'd be too fast. This is meaningless activity and supposedly just for fun. But then one participant also said, yeah we don't want him, he cheats!
I did call them out on that, but fairly gently. I just said I work hard at running and don't appreciate the implication considering all the stuff that goes on in the sport (druggies, course cutters, bib mules, et al.). The funny irony, is that I have zero fast twitch fiber remaining and really suck at sprinting, so a lot of them could thrash me distances under the 800.

A 545 yard dash? That’s an odd distance, also a tough one I would think. I ran 600 a couple of times in indoor track back in high school I hated that race. Still Coyote I would think it be pretty competitive at that distance, it’s not truly all out sprint.
Do you think they were just kidding?

Arrojo, I might be able to break 70 in the 400 with a couple weeks of fast pick ups and 200s to get ready. Maybe mid-high 60s with a couple months of work? But afraid I'd pop a hamstring or blow an Achilles in the process.
They were serious about the snub, the cheater part was probably a joke. But one of those fire in the theatre type statements that isn't really funny. There are too many real cheats out there.

Okay the guy said he was 100% joking about the cheating quip, so I'll move on.

Popped hamstring here. I'm still recovering 6 months later.
