The USATF masters 15K championships were held as part of the longstanding Tulsa Run this weekend. It was cold (32 at the start) and blustery and course is fairly hilly. Met my goals for this race and maybe then some. Ran sub 6 minute mile pace, got top 3 in age group, and scored 3rd in the high overall age grade ranking (89.5%). So that part could hardly have gone better. Major kudos to the organizers of this race--they really put on a good event. Got lots of medals and bling. Have done XC champs several times but this was my first national road championship. Hope to do more on the grand prix masters circuit races with the new team in the coming years.

Damn Photobucket, damn you all to hell!
I'll see, might take some time to retrieve those. I also have it on a CD. Somewhere. But no one uses disks anymore.

Well you could have run a tad faster to make that even 90.0%. ;)

Outstanding work, dude.

ha yeah, it would have been 19 seconds. I had that number in my head but the last 1.3 miles were uphill, and that was a real grind.
