Title: ARRS top 40
Post by: Coyote Mas Loco on October 26, 2017, 10:31:54 AM
Here's a delve into obscurantism. The Assoc. of Road Racing Statistics http://www.arrs.net/ (http://www.arrs.net/) keeps all sorts of stuff about running. Made the top 40 in length between 1st and latest sub 3 marathons. As in there are only a few dozen runners out there who have run sub 3 marathons 30+ years apart.

The number 40 single from when I first broke 3.  8)

The sponsorship offers should be pouring in any time now.  Bidding war between Nike and Adidas perhaps?

Fast Eddie, Ha! Nobody calling yet, but I am switching clubs because I'll actually get to run with a masters team more than once every year or two, not to mention that the new club has been age group national champs two years in a row. They'll pay for travel to national races, events where we can win team or individual age group and age grade money. The old club fields great elite teams/runners but doesn't give a second look at masters running so it's time for a change.

Hey Snarly Marly, great song it's an anthem for runners--there was an article in Runners World a couple months ago. It was a good read if you haven't seen it yet.

Nicely done, obscure man.
