A little tired after yesterday's 5 miles.

Today I tried to stick to that mythical magical 'fat burning' target heart rate zone.  60%-70% of your max heart rate?  For me that's between 110-130 (did some rounding for convenience  :) )

I'll tell ya, that's not easy to do.  When I stand up and walk out the door I'm already at close to 100 bpm!  So basically I walked for one hour which ended up being 4.2 miles.  I ran verrrrrry slowly for very short stretches on the rare occasions that I got down at or below 110 bpm.   All in all though I liked it as a nice easy recovery kind of day.

Hey, it beats sitting down all day I guess.

200m in 36 secs, 5 mins rest

200m in 36 secs,
100m in 16 secs.
200m in 38 secs

3 miles easy.
Knee muscles burned a little,
the exercise bike must be having some effect.

Good news, there was a few minutes of light rain during the run.
Bad news, it woke up the mosquitoes.
