Gym stuff. Running rest day.
I have to say I really notice that my ankles and knees feel less creaky when I'm walking to work on Fridays when I don't run in the morning...

20 minutes dynamic stretching (High knees, butt kicks, Mach A&B skips, grapevines, elephants)
100m @15 secs, walk 200
200m @36 secs, walk 300
300m @61 secs
10 minutes rest
repeat, 100, 200, 300
jog 800M

you seem to be racing a lot.
Last week's race was a workout. I trained through it and held back in the first mile and didn't "kick in" the way I usually do. I may not race again until April. I've already started my winter "buildup".
