Title: I made soup for the next five nights!
Post by: Ice Cream on September 27, 2015, 07:02:02 PM
One is a black bean, cumin, and salsa soup, to be eaten with bread and cream cheese

The second one is minestrone.

Whenever the weather is getting cooler, I crave soups. Something to look forward to every day, on my way home. Just throw in the microwave and defrost some bread and throw it in the toaster.

I made a komboca squash soup and lentil soup, YUM! I eat soup year round, but even more so in the cooler weather.

I could do a chilled soup but nothing hot.  It is 87 right now but it feels like 100 with the humidity.

Yum!  We're just finishing up a sort of corn chowder that my BF threw together.  It's gooood.  He doesn't tend to use a recipe, but it does involve potatoes and mild chilis in addition to the corn.
