3 mile tempo run plus weights

8 miles easy.

5 slow tired miles. Not the 10+ I'd planned on but I was up very late last night (long story, not the fun kind.)

Easy six.

Jogged 1.5 miles through the woods to the track, then did 6 x 400m with 400m rest. Jogged home, 6 miles total.
The track has been newly refurbished, it's beautiful. But there are no lines on it yet; in fact, a couple of guys from the track company were there marking it up with a tape measure to paint the lines on. I stopped and chatted with them about their work during one of my recovery laps. :)

11 miles, which got me to 71 for the week.

6 miles. Last night's mild shenanigans had me mildly compromised today. I'll do my long run tomorrow.

23K. Nice weather. A little hot, but humidity was down.

10.02 miles....crazy humid...it's supposed to cool down next week, though!!

Weights and 6 miles.

Night, upper 50s, damp, some wind, basically perfect.
11 miles in just over 100 minutes. Nearly 7 minutes ahead of last week's half marathon race.
Right foot ached as usual. Hip and hammy also started to ache. But nothing major.
34 miles for the week. Highest in 51 months.
