6 miles. The sloggiest of slogs. Ughs.
-
7 miles with 10X30 second striders thrown in.
Dew point of 74 by the river and the air was absolutely stagnant. Yuck. My sweaty face felt like a windshield what with all the bugs stuck to it. I am so looking forward to fall running.

7 fast miles...I had to ditch the Mizunos and go back to Hoka due to my calf pain...and, it's better already...I'm a lifer, now...

Weights plus 6.2 miles
-
3 miles
86 degrees and 71 percent humidity.
-
Bike day!
:lambie:

5.1 miles. My slow twitch speed is returning.
-
10 miles. I think I finally acclimated to the heat.
-
12.5K. Glad for the partly cloudy skies after brief afternoon showers.
-
8.5 miles including:
- 2 mile warm up
- 3 x 1 mile at lactate threshold pace with 1-minute recoveries
- 6 x 200 meters with 200-meter jog recoveries
- 2 mile cool down
Crazy humid. I was soaked in sweat by the end.

I've been alternating, Mizunos for uptempo and long runs and the Hokas for recovery and junk miles. I guess I really prefer the Mizunos after all. My love affair with Hoka is over. They're too squishy for serious running for me.
7 miles at 7PM including Battery Street hill and Pearl Street hill up to UVM. 86 degrees at the start and 85 at the finish. It felt more like Florida than Vermont when I finished: tropical and breezy.

No run. Hung over from hash the night before.

They're perfect for serious running for me....but, I'll likely hold on to the Mizunos for shorter races (10k and under)...they're obviously WAY more responsive...
