Gym stuff and 4 delightfully cool miles.

11.25K. Nice weather, nice pace.
+25K biking to and fro the Jays game this evening.

5 easy

Ran the 100m and 200m at our weekly running club's track meet against local high school and college kids. I finished third out of 6 in both races, 13.31 and 29.08, respectively. I am older than all of their fathers .

7 miles easy. Started out pretty stiff and finally loosened up after mile 2. I guess that's what I get for not stretching enough.

5 miles on a beautiful night.

morning: perfect for a 10k time trial, but I woke up too late.
Went out for a 5k, but my throat started closing.
2 miles in just under 15 minutes, a new season pr.
evening: ugh, foot ached, stiff and sore, trudged 3 miles.
depressing that I need a recovery day after just 2 hard miles.
