I have a pretty bad cold: congestion, sinus headache.
Should I go running tonight, or should I rest?
-
I'm lending to resting, unless you really need some base mileage. Doubt you would get any quality workout in with the symptoms you have.

The lazy part of me likes your advice.
I don't think running would help get rid of the cold, and it might even make it worse.

As long as you are just sick above your shoulders, you could run. That's the conventional wisdom. But I wouldn't. Almost every time I take that advice it ends up driving the cold into my lungs and sometimes prolonging the recovery by weeks. Take a rest day.

I'd lift.
But then, I prefer strength training to running anyway. :)

I would, but I feel like overcooked spaghetti today.

I might go out there for 2 or 3 miles, raise up my metabolism and sweat this cold out.

I'd run for a few.

I think so, it's time.

Welp, I just went out and did a 30 minute walk. I still don't feel quite right, but it was nice to move around a little.
