Twenty miles. Befitting of this last 20 miler of the training cycle, it snowed the whole time.
But even though my legs were tired, I ran it relatively well and felt I could have kept going.
Three weeks from Monday, now.

walked 4 miles. I was supposed to do a HM tomorrow, but due to car trouble, I am not going. I even tapered for the event. I guess I may do some longer run, but I have not decided yet.

Find an open track and run a half marathon time trial. 54 laps plus 320 meters (shortness prevention included)
Or just a 10k time trial. If you are at peak fitness, get something from it.

I caught some kind of bug on Wednesday. Feverish and achy for 3 days. Also upset stomach. Lost 5 pounds in 3 days.
2 miles slow. The wind irritated my sinuses. Started coughing about 5 minutes in. Turned into dry heaves for a couple of minutes. Kept on running. Symptoms finally went away without having to actually vomit.
Lungs felt small, legs and feet felt fine. Just tummy trouble.
With luck tomorrow will be my first 5k of the year.

Running to the nearest track and then back home would add up to 18 miles. a HM on the track would bring it up to a 50K.
