Though I would start off the new year with my first post on CH.
Ran a lazy 5.6km along the creek.

Well... It was after midnight when I reported my run , but I thought this was the Thursday run thread.
Penalty for careless posting.

Four recovery miles that felt harder and colder because of the wind.

On the treadmill for 3.2 easy recovery miles this morning. Avoided the cold air - sore throat & irritated cough.

Today I did a 10K walk/run (mostly walking) on a glorious trail along the Truckee river, at 6500 ft. Its a wide asphalt path and the city plans to keep it plowed all winter. I attempted it yesterday but I was way overdressed ...today I wore much lighter clothes and trail shoes (not insulated snow boots) ...much better!
