Today was a rest day. Tomorrow I have a big 3 mile race, 518 registered so far. Including a few that are going to run at or under 15 minutes. I'm looking forward to seeing how fast I can go!

Too a bit to get going during today's evening run. Maybe because I had a few extra biking commute Ks before getting home and getting out quickly for my run. 11.5K

Rabbited a kids 1K race. Held on to the lead till about 150 meters from the finish, when two yoots blew by me. Pulled up to let other kiddies past. Finish time just over 4 minutes.

Later in the early evening, got in a 7.5K recovery run.

3 miles on my mildly hilly neighborhood route. Was 69° but felt much warmer to me today.

Said goodbye to Colorado on Sunday after a hilly 5 milers and on Monday a rather humid but extremely flat 5.6 miles in Council Bluffs, IA before driving another 400 miles. Good to be in Minnesota. It's going to be different, but I think we'll like it here.

My regular hilly 4.3 miles. 83° F and humid made it a little harder than it should have been. Some strides after to keep it loose.

Running / New Chocolate Milk Mile Record

Forget about the Beer Mile, Chocolate Milk Mile is where it's at, and probably even more puking.

The annual chocolate milk mile championships were held at Brighton High School in Brighton, Mich. on Friday, June 27, and for the second year in a row, Connor Vachon of Hope College in Holland, Mich., broke his own world record (set last year at 4:38.2), running 4:37.6.

Tried to fit in my long run today, since I didn't have time to do it on the weekend. Little too hot & humid today. Wanted around 30K+ but made it to 26.66K. Downed it seems a litre of water and stopped at a drug store for a Gatorade.
