Yessss. The night is my cathedral.
Oh nice.
Just joking, I really was never a trail runner. And now I live in an area where its sand, road, or treadmill.
I used to run on the beach a lot when I lived in NJ.I've done the occasional beach run down here at sunset... and it's very nice.
Mario, de donde eres?Yes, I love to run on trail. I'm headed out for a sloppy trail run now: it's mountainous here and it rained all night, so will be interesting to see the condition of the trails, to say the least.
yes, but do not get a chance to very often. I should try and make that happen.
I like trail running, do not do it often enough, but half of the races i run seem to be on trails.
I've grown to like trails after my hip surgery, because there is a lot less pounding than from the roads. Yes, you should expect to fall. A little bruise or a little bleeding is a badge of honor. Try not to roll your ankle though. I use trail shoes - Innov8's are terrific. You definitely run slower on the trails than on the roads, but the workout is great. The uneven terrain is great for your calves, and ankles.
I have had injury problems with my feet. I worry that an uneven surface may cause me to trip or otherwise re-injure my feet. I do like running trail races but have held off while recovering. Running in the woods during the fall leaf color change is awesome.
