Storm Clouds

Took these during a recent heavy and persistent storm and blew through.  The first pics look like a bright blue sky with whispy clouds, but they are really the underside of a heavy thunderhead brightly side lit by the sun, dispersing the light and making it appear blue.  The latter pics show the undulations in the cloud and increasingly red colours as the sun set and lit up the base of the clouds.









Look closely for the jet passing through the middle:

Cool pictures!  I think the bubble-looking ones are called mammatus clouds.  Of course, I could very well be wrong...
