thanks!!  i thought chips like this were obsolete and all embedded in bibs now, but then again this race cost $15 :D

Yes.  You can use twist ties to attach to laces as well.

I noticed this when stealthily checking out other people's shoes yesterday.   Next time I'll do that

It was a MEC series race and I was very impressed.  It cost  $15, they had road and trail distances and it was just very well run.  Next year I'm definitely doing the whole local series.
