Title: How did I manage to take 401 exposures of 8 year olds playing soccer?

I edit down to the best 15 or 20 out of three or four hundred.

Well, anyway, did you get any really good ones? What lens are you using? What was your lighting like?

I got some good ones, but they were of other peoples kids unfortunately - DD didn't handle the ball much until the end of the game and then she was in traffic. 

I used my crap 75-300 zoom.  Lighting was relatively low in the sky mid morning sunny September sunshine - lots of shadows if I didn't get the girls facing into the sun.  I tried from both sides of the field. 

Last year I uploaded a couple of hundred images to photobucket and shared them with the rest of the team's parents.
