Can I peep in here?  I am in a cast with a broken ankle since July 15.  No exercise for me, except for upper body. I have been building gradually on upper body workouts for people in wheelchairs, using videos on youtube.

I realized that I could fool my Fitbit into believing I was doing steps.  My goal is to reach 10,000 steps today, which is quite demanding. I have been building up gradually and made it to 9,600 yesterday. I also have to be careful not to cause an overuse injury in my arms.  Anyways: I am at 8,000+ steps for 57 minutes of workout for the day.  Next workout is at 4 p.m.

I scream, you scream, we all scream.......

5k time trial.
woke up early and it was 46 degrees, I wanted to run in the mid 50s
so I went back to sleep.
woke up and it was still 46 degrees, went back to sleep.
woke up and it was still 46 degrees, wait a minute...
The web site had frozen up, it was now 60 degrees.
grrrrrrrr

Still went for 5k. Warmer than what I was hoping for.
Throat started closing up, shut it down at 2.5k.
Total of 2.1 miles with a fast average.

It would have been about a 24:10 if I had held pace,
a season best by more than a minute. Oh well another day.
