I went to River Country back in 1978 as a kidlet, this is an interesting article.

My family went to Disney when I was 9 or 10 years old.  River Country was, by far, my favorite part of the trip.  I always wondered what happened to it.  Thanks for posting!

One that never was. Abandoned is an interesting series, they cover everything from the decline of Blockbuster to various malls and department stores that went under.

shiiiiiiiiiit. we were hoping to hit up a local restaurant still offering take out food for breakfast this weekend and then go enjoy it in a park.

it's gonna be forties with rain today and snow on Monday.

I hate the weather in new England.
