Thank you.  I bought one and it tasted like dirt.  No one seemed to understand.   :'(

Like most veggies, freshness counts.  And it's very hard to tell when it's past its prime, until you taste it.

I had it once.  Now I can say I tried it.

I've had it in salad.  The texture seems very much like melon.  And not much taste.
