Ran a flat mile race this evening
« on: October 29, 2021, 10:02:03 PM »
And I'm slow. But it's been the 1st mile in a few years where my hamstrings and butt weren't hurting. I actually got tied up w/lactic acid! I haven't felt that in years. It felt good.

10k tomorrow morning.

Nice.

I'm running a Halloween 10k on Sunday.  I am also slow.

Yeah, but you're out there! There's an advantage, I think to never having ever been the best, and that's that you don't compare yourself to anyone but yourself and you can always better yourself (at least w/age grading)

Have fun! There's a local guy who literally runs every race and he could go fast, but he just shows up and encourages everyone.

I'm hitting the sack now. Race at 8:00 am.
