Ouch. It irks me the way he wears his sunglasses backwards.
-
wow.
pretty rough throughout (though amusing), but I particularly enjoyed the final zinger:
SERVICE The well-meaning staff seems to realize that this is not a real restaurant.

I don't know who Guy Fieri is, but I very much enjoyed the review. :D

Sounds like it fits in great with the other fare in Times Square. The tourists will love it. :groucho:

He is on the Food Network and likes to be totally awesome and make hot dogs awesome. Totally rock and roll.

i am going to find a good example for you, 'bou....

I do not mind him, but that article was a hoot to read. I detest Bobby Flay 10000000000 x's more.

heh... well, that restaurant sounds exactly like the persona he appears to convey...

His first restaraunt is really, really good. I went there years ago before he was on the food network.

And Guy Fieri responds: "Times went overboard" (http://newyork.grubstreet.com/2012/11/guy-fieri-responds-to-restaurant-review.html).
And then, in an awkward turn of events, it's revealed that the day the actual review dropped in print, NYT staff held a party at Guy Fieri's restaurant (http://www.thebraiser.com/guy-fieri-nyt-staff-party/):
The New York Times now confirms the event: “The Times ad sales department hosted an event for clients at the restaurant last night. The event was planned two months ago.”

Oh jeeze. What a d-bag. A real chef walks down the line and throws stuff and screams at people when every plate isn't just perfect. This is how reputations get ruined. Oh... wait...
