Sunday - beetroot and feta burgers,
spinach salad rutabaga oven fries (spinach salad for lunch, so we changed plans)
Monday - Syrian-style lentil soup black bean soup
Tuesday - either leftovers from Sun or Mon, or, breakfast for dinner using something from the freezer (probably baked beans and fish cakes... maybe moose sausage and eggs...) okonomiyaki!
Wednesday - dinner w/MIL at The Stone Jug (http://www.thestonejug1860.com/menus)
Thursday - diablita's Moqueca! I'm very excited to try this
Friday - neighbourhood potluck - will probably bring antijitos

Today: roast Turkey, gravy mashed potatoes
Mon: Chili
Tues: chicken and pasta
Wed: Turkey enchilada
Thurs: hubby's responsibility
Friday: tbd

Bou-- lentil soup recipe please?
I'm attempting to re-create a lentil soup I had in a Syrian restaurant a while back. It had a lot of carrot in it, also dried lime. I will probably tinker with this recipe: http://www.azeliaskitchen.net/lentil-dried-lime-soup-shorbat-adas/ (http://www.azeliaskitchen.net/lentil-dried-lime-soup-shorbat-adas/) but will stick to red lentils only, increase the carrot, and skip the leeks.

Monday: leftover lasagna and garlic bread
Tuesday: Roasted chicken and potatoes
I can't remember Wed-Friday
I also made a black bean and quinoa enchilada casserole for my lunches this week.
