Whew, summer like heat and humidity today, feeling like 80°F.  Triple 7 for me. Rode bike 7K to store and led Run Club for 7K. Then road 7K back home.

Usual Tuesday morning and evening 7K commute. Felt like summer weather on the early evening run home.

7.3 easy, with 4X 200 m hill reps. First day since the race (10 days ago) that I felt okay.

Victoria Day Holiday here in Canada (or as JC always puts it, the day when the Victoria Secret catalogs arrive in the mail) so morning traffic was light but running trails were busy. 12.2K in glorious warm sunshine.

4 miles. A bit later in the day. Just got back from orthopedist appointment. Apparently my ice fall last January did more damage than I thought. I have a torn rotator cuff issue. Now have to decide whether to opt for surgery. At 77, I know I heal slower and would be facing at least 3 months of no running and possibly longer. On the other hand, while I can live with things as they are, another fall and I will be looking at shoulder replacement instead of tendon repair.  Ah such fun.
