I ran 5 miles, my typical morning run. It was very humid and 77 degrees, but felt great. I felt very light on my feet.

I have had a five mile limit on myself since a hip fracture in '07. I'm really itching to run further. I think it may be time to slowly increase distance.

Yoga, 75 min vinyasa flow.

And probably about 10 min of running, after a few trots around the block while trying on new shoes.  :d

21 miles (was supposed to be 20 but I got a little lost), flat. Humid, but a nice breeze and mostly cloudy.

2 mile time trial on the track. It was supposed to be a 5k but the damp air and windy conditions triggered an allergy flare up and my throat started filling with phlegm.

7:30 pace would have been enough for a new season best, but I know that I can hold 7:20 in my current shape. If only conditions would cooperate. Opened with 7:16, started coughing during mile 6, finished with 7:21. A 2 mile season best by 12 seconds. On pace for about 22:40.

Oh, well. Maybe some day this next week.

Good miles everybody.

I have a neighborhood route I mapped out and drove, measured the distance with the car's odometer.
