Oh gosh, no! I knew of the Donald from Spy magazine back when I was in HS. Early '90s, I guess.
In '95, I made the mistake of trying the Hut's stuffed crust and paid the ultimate gastrointestinal price. I've never had their 'za again. :D

His casinos suck. The Taj Mahal was super tacky. I know how you feel about casinos though.

I think I *do* remember that, but I never tried it! :D

Not exactly an ad, but the Ted Williams Moxie ad made me think of this, which we also had in our camp:

The Cig-O-Meter. My dad didn't smoke anymore, by the time I was around, but it hung by our dining room. I was always fascinated by it, like some archaeological oddity, and puzzled by "Why Bum Buy;" I never could figure out what that meant when I was little.
