Title: Saturday October 28th
Post by: Fast Eddie on October 28, 2023, 10:18:04 PM
Worked a Halloween Run in the morning. Some decent costumes, but most runners dressed as usual.

After getting home and having a nap, got in 11K. Piriformis was at a tolerable level.

25k, 15*C humid and overcast
Picked a perfect non-raining window for my weekend long run (I usually try to do it Sundays but Sunday forecast looked worse)

Felt really good and it was my first true long run in since late August. I have declared myself “ready” for the 30k trail race in two weeks that I’ve barely been able to train for.

Let’s do this!

The only time I’ve done a costume run, it was a three person trail relay. My wife and I were paired with a solo runner also in costume. Out of dozens of teams running, we won the costume division… as the only team actually in costume!
