Title: Ratchet
Post by: tenacious1 on July 15, 2014, 12:16:13 PM: My boys used to use this term to describe some people and it came up again recently. Anyone else ever heard this?

DS1's job is at a cheaper hotel. He described the clientele as ratchet. I can't figure out if that's dangerous or just not stylish. :shrug:

What about "sketchy"? I don't think they've changed the meaning, just put it into more common use.

I'm pretty sure that's the correct word origin, actually. Like wretched & hot mess had a baby,
