Friday March 20
« on: March 20, 2020, 01:21:30 PM »
Ran an unknown distance for 32:48.
I would get drunk on Bud Light with Dylan Mulvaney.

I rested yesterday--that's part of my recovery protocol (self prescribed, but also recommended by more than one)--and today it's 16 degrees with 15" of new snow and just started snowing again. Fitness center closed. I might get out in a bit or just bag it until tomorrow when roads are better and paths are cleared.
I'll stick to running, thank you.

:D

Just coming back in here to cheer as necessary.  This week was so mentally taxing it's good to have extra time to rest the body.

3 miles on the road with the pup. Looks like snow this weekend so I may end up back on the treadmill.

I did the virtual challenge from the other running forum I frequent.

1 minute hill climb all out, and then they asked to look at the strava GAP and plug that time into an age grade calculator.

So in sum 50 minute run: warm up, 1 minute rep, cool down

Results: 1.4 miles, 65' climb (6.9%), pace was 6:53 and GAP at 5:06 pace. Age grade 83% with all said and done.

Oh yeah, the weather. 21 F. Cold. Cloudy, no wind.

I'll stick to running, thank you.
