Friday February 4
« on: February 04, 2022, 10:29:50 AM »
My grandfather's birthday, he was born in the 1880s.

Did 7 on the treadmill with 1 mile warm up, 6X 5 minute tempo reps getting progressively faster (7:05 to 6:30 pace) with 1 minute recovery 1 mile cool down.

Planning to xc ski this afternoon (hill reps at Frisco Nordic Center) but that depends on work deadlines.

Freezing rain, sleet and all kinds of crazy heavy mix precipitation today. So I ran on the dreadmil for 40 minutes while watching Judge Judy. She is awesome, I love her.

Mile two on my run was with an incline of 10.0 again.
I would get drunk on Bud Light with Dylan Mulvaney.

46° F here and rain holding off until later today so I got 5 miles in without needing a jacket.

Same workout as yesterday. Shoveled an inch of fresh snow, ran 2K to the Subway. Then 9K run commute home.

No skiing for me Friday, but did have a nice snow run in the park. Roads were melting but still icy in spots. Trail was too muddy.

6km with some 30 second stride intervals. Felt fresh and on point.
