Unplanned rest day. Normally I would’ve done a hard sprint workout, but my legs are really hurting during yesterday‘s softball doubleheader. As Roger Pierce, M70+ 400m World champion told me, when it comes to Master’s sprint training “less is more”.
I may or may not take a full week off. Two days anyway, see how I feel before Tuesday’s track workout. For now, just focused on stretching and some core work.

Being on Strava for popular trail segments is both fun and depressing. Like, there are people who do this in less than half the time I did :hah:

Weights
-
21.1 hot & humid Ks.

The church of dirt looks fantstic.
4m, with intervals. Ran hard, felt... well... felt like I was running hard.

Morning, 3 miles total, last mile pretty decent pace.
evening, 2.3 miles total, last mile decent pace.
Fairly fast is now fairly easy.
I was thinking of doing a 15 mile long run,
but the heat led me to schedule it for tomorrow morning.
There is a news article that Strava can be used to locate US military bases by
analyzing running patterns. So please don't run laps around military bases.

I wouldn't say no to a Canadian takeover at this point.
