quasi breadmachine quinoa oatmeal bread

(1/2) > >>

gebuh:
I've had a bread machine since my kids were little, used it all the time then.  I put it away and didn't touch it again until yesterday.
One of the problems I had with it was the difficulty making good quality non-white flour loaves.
Anyway a couple of days ago I found this recipe for quinoa bread - and I just happened to have some on hand so I tried it out.  But instead of letting the bread machine do all the work I just used it on the dough setting and then baked it in the oven following the directions here.
It didn't rise as much as it should have (that prolly has more to do with the yeast - I keep it in the freezer, but it expired years ago).  But it turned out really well.  Then I used the jam setting to make some raspberry jam to go along with it.

Yum!  I'll have to try it sometime.

Courtney:
thanks for sharing...  it looks gluten free, so I may have to try it!

no its not, there's flour in it.

Courtney:
oh, that's hilarious.  When I view it, the last three ingredients didn't line up with the rest, so I totally missed that.  :D  D'oh!
