Cocktail suggestions?
« on: July 06, 2018, 06:09:17 PM »
Life is good. Just finished a hike and settled down with a prosecco blossom.  Prosecco and st. Germaine elderflower liquore. I also threw so fresh blueberries in because...why not!

I like a pain killer in the summer, or a salty dog.

My new favorite at a bar: Corpse Reviver no. 2 (although I may buy some absinthe to make this at home).

Current go-to at home: gin gimlet made with fresh lime juice and sweetened a tad with agave syrup.

You are so much classier than I am! I am really a beer girl. But, if I must have a cocktail, I like a super dirty martini.

I like cocktails with bubbly wine. French 75 is awesome.

vodka/gin and tonic with a splash of pink lemonade.

If you really want to get fancy, muddled raspberries, tonic, a little bit of simple syrup.

dry martini - always up with a twist (although i ran out of lemons one day last week and instead garnished w/a massive garlic stuffed olive.  that was pretty okay)
vesper
aperol spritz (basically candy)

My sister made gimlets with lime, lemon grass and a bit of simple syrup.  Delicious.

My go to is a wet vodka martini straight with a twist.
So good

I discovered cardamom bitters.  So bourbon, splash of orange liquor, and the cardamom bitters.
