that's a lot of tannin-y grapes in that blend! does it feel grippy?
I had to look up "grippy" and no, I don't think this is grippy, I could drink this non-stop. I told my mom about this wine and mentioned that I liked this because it wasn't such an astringent red.
smoking loon's cab is pretty reliable. and super affordable.
it's $17/bottle here, which is justifiably affordable but not one I'm going to use for cooking.
I love Casillero del Diablo
I had Decoy pinot noir 2012 a couple of days ago. OMG, I want to buy a case of it!
in a surprising turn of events, this wine is actually carried by our liquor stores... but it's THIRTY FIVE DOLLARS a bottle!
Decoy is not my favorite, but it's only $18.79 a bottle here.
the mediocre review makes me less worried about what I'm missing out on.
Ahem. I didn't call it mediocre. I loved it. But YMMV.
i wandered through my packy about a month ago and picked up a bottle of castell de raimat albarino. very nice.
