RA thanks for the response about your experience. If I do it I will definitely make the commitment for the duration of the 4 weeks because I will be paying extra for it!! Additionally it is at 630am so I am less likely to blow it off. I tend to have a harder time getting to the gym after work.
I think I may try it... Get the last hurrah effort in before I leave for Maui!!!

You and me both, sistah.  I wasn't hungry for most of January.  For the last few days I've been starving and craving goodies.

I am yet again violating my no grains policy and eating sushi.  So worth it.  I'll take whatever bump up the scale gives me tomorrow.

And I am so done with analyzing every damn thing that passes my lips.

I need a cheat day.  Bad.

harmony - does the spinach smoothie taste like spinach??  What do you put into it?  I'd like to try something like that for more veggies but I think the green color is what puts me off.  Also, I much prefer sweet smoothies to savory ones.

I've thrown spinach and kale in regular smoothies. Can't even taste it.

My spin instructor took is through a HIIT workout once.  I mostly thought it was boring because being "on" so often meant I couldn't let my mind wander.

Boring's not the right word. I know what you mean though. I think sustained focus is really good for the brain, but it's tiring.

I started the Weight Watchers for Men last week - as of this past Wed down 8lbs
Over 70,000 young adults between 18-40 are diagnosed with some form of Cancer every year. That's 1 diagnosis in every 8 minutes. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

I'm "letting" myself have a salad.  I didn't during the last several weeks because I couldn't get an exact calorie count.

Screw that.  Spinach salad is not what's gonna make me get fat again.

I'm feeling good an strong!  I maintained in my biggest loser contest, but that was weds and when I weighed my self this morning I was down a little more than 2 lbs since weds.. so I have come to realize one weigh in is not worth getting discouraged over.

I am trying to plan for super bowl sunday.. due to our intense interest in the game, my daughter and I are probably just watching at home where we won't be distracted.  I planned to make TJ's 17 bean and barley soup because if I overate from nerves with that it would not be too bad. But she wants Chinese "just like we used to do when we lived in Massachusetts" I think I have gotten her to compromise on sushi, which is better than chinese. I intend to be very careful between now and Sunday and work out a lot , in case I want to have a little splurge.

Personally, since I eat it dry, I don't even think I should have to count a salad that doesn't have anything but veggies in it.

I was fantasizing about a cupcake today. A chocolate cupcake with a three inch head of frosting...
