I made a reipe that called for canned cream corn... I bought one; it had 6 g. of sugar per serving, the can was 3 servings. I kept the recipe but  modified it and use frozen corn.

It's really gross - sickeningly sweet, mushy corn. He loves it, I swear his palate has regressed to that of a five year old as he's gotten older.

apparently, as you grow older, you have less sense of taste, and sweet is the last taste to go.
