probably not a gadget, but my Zojirushi rice cooker is one of the things I treasure most in the kitchen.

I also have a thermos that I love.  I make my tea at night, before going to bed, and it's still hot in the morning.  Too lazy and impatient to make it in the morning.

I thought my instant pot was going to duplicate the rice cooker, but that's not the case. I also still use my steamer and croc pot.

We got the toaster oven because it has an air fry setting.  It's pretty good.

I saw an ad for a Ninja pressure cooker that could also air fry.  Looks intriguing!

Air fryer!

I may get an air fryer toaster over for Xmas for myself.

Immersion blender is another well used one for soups etc.

I repurposed my cheapo coffee bean grinder as a spice grinder.  Works great.  Except for that one time I tried using it again to grind coffee.  That was a mistake.  Cumin and coriander are great on steak, not so good in your morning coffee.

My coffee grinder has separate bowls (or whatever they're called) so you can use one for spices.  I'm not sure I ever have but they sound so good.

I did the same, but my old coffee grinder didn't make the move cross country with me. I'm not sure what I did with it. So...new spice grinder.

I don't have a lot of gadgets.  I do have:

A Cuisinart countertop grill with interchangeable plates - there is a ridged panini/grill plate which is flat (like for a griddle) on the other side.  The grill can be opened up flat to use like a griddle.  It also has waffle plates, which I rarely use, but is easier to store the plates than a waffle iron.  I use the grill for chicken, bacon, toast, reheating pizza (wrapped in parchment paper), and (with the waffle plates) waffles.  It is not as good for meats as the George Foreman because it is not angled for drainage; however if it were angled, waffles would be right out.  I love this thing though and use it frequently.  (I do not have a toaster or toaster oven.

Herb scissors - I grow my own herbs and my hands hurt if I do a lot of cutting with traditional scissors.  These have multiple parallel scissor blades, so I can get small cuts with less effort.  I do wonder if I can also cut bacon with them (for when I make bacon cheesecake)  of if that would dull the blades.

Not a gadget, but I have something like 4 or 5 sets of plastic mini-tongs from Big Lots and I love those things.  They are great for non-stick cooking, getting things off the counter-top grill, party serving etc.

Also:
Good tongs with rubber on the handles so they don't get too hot and a lock mechanism so they stay closed in the drawer
Rectangular measuring spoons (they go in the spice jars better)
All-clad waffle maker

I'll think of more I'm sure.... :D

I think they do have glass sodastream bottles but they’re pretty expensive. I just buy the glass bottles with the rubber clamp stoppers and transfer the water into these for the fridge.

Do you still peel the garlic with the garlic twister?

Agree on the Nutribullet--we use ours for smoothies for the kids all the time. If we didn't make smoothies, we wouldn't use it much.

I'll add an immersion blender if you like making soup

I have the Ninja one and I love it. I went with that over the others because it is ceramic coated versus teflon and the reviews were better in regards to durability of the pan and rack.

I have it on my amazon list but I read a bunch of recent reviews that says it smells like burning rubber and they had to return it. Maybe just a bad batch?

I never got the burning rubber smell from it. We use it at least once a week lately, great way to make eggplant parm or roasted veg, and no smell so far. I have had it for about six months I think.

:ok:  I just got one to replace my ancient (and grody) kitchen trash can.  I'm in love with it!  When I walk by it, I still can't resist the urge to wave my hand over the sensor just to make the lids flip up.

I want a motion sensing faucet—or a foot pedal one like we had in the lab! Our last house had a trash compacter that opened with your foot. I miss that every day!

I am not much of a gadget girl - mostly due to space reasons.  The kitchen things I have that I love are:
Silicone pot holders/trivets
Salad spinner - seriously
KitchenAid mix master
Cast iron skillet - I don't worry about keeping it seasoned and use it mostly for searing stuff, esp tuna.
slow cooker

Yay! I bought a cheap one to take to Paris and the slicing tines only go halfway through the loop. It doesn’t work nearly as well.
