Title: Dump Dinners
Post by: Noley on January 28, 2019, 07:21:41 AM
I'm looking for things to make for my son (he wants high protein meals) that I can throw in a crock pot and have ready for him.  I meal prep on the weekends for him, so he has grab and go meals. This is saving me money with him eating all meals at home.

Do any of you have great recipes that fits this?

I eat high protein but I don't use the crock pot much unless I am cooking a pot roast or something. I find the grill is the easiest way to food prep a ton of meat for the week. I eat a lot of chicken breasts and pork chops.

Turkey sandwiches on low cal whole grain bread are high protein as are wraps.

I think I only use my crockpot for carnitas... so I'm not much help on the easy one-pot crockpot meal.

The reason I asked about spicy food is that my favourite slow-cooked recipes tend to be curries.

I like making some version of this, which can be wrapped up in a tortilla for a quick burrito.
