teetime:
Some of my favorite recipes come from epicurious but unless I know exactly what I want, I find browsing difficult.  E.g., the "top rated" chicken recipes aren't very exciting but there are hidden jems (i.e., fabulous well rated recipes that are burried).

I've found most of my favorites based on recommendations.  So, thought it would be fun to have a best of epicurious thread here.

One of mine is the crust from this apricot tart.  The filling is meh and someday I'll try a fig or chocolate something swap.  But still, everytime I've made it people have raved about the crust texture, taste and looks appeal.

Note, it never got much attention.  I actually pulled it from the magazine on a whim.

Ever since you posted the top one, for the first time, it's been my go to mole recipe.  I've never made the full dish but with some tweaks, love that sauce.

Like Jan- way too many to list. It's not unusual for me to spend some time just browsing recipes that sound good.

These beans are fantastic! I use them in soups, pastas, sautes- just love them. The cooking broth is flavorful and makes a great soup base also. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Cannellini-Beans-with-Garlic-and-Sage-355216

Amazing veggie stock. I make this once or twice a year and make veggie gravy with it. Really, really, really, great. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Roasted-Vegetable-Stock-231025
