4 mile race in Denver at 20 F, 11 wind chill, with the road covered in snow & ice. This was a tune up. Plan was progression from 6:00, 5:55, to 5:50 for the last two miles. It turned out to be 6:02, 5:51 (tailwind), 6:10 (headwind), and 6:05 (a mix), so not what I'd planned. Now the pace calculator says I'm only good for 59:34 for the 15K I'm planning on in two weeks (at sea level). Better be >4 minutes faster. Or at least that's the plan. We'll see, will report back then. :nono:
