Fast Eddie:
Limestone Waterfront 10K in Kingston, Ontario. 46:08 Chip - 33/183 Overall - 24/90 Male - 1st M60-69


Unusual 5pm race start, but since I had a two hour drive to get there, it was good timing. Light showers and moderate winds on the out & back course. One good hill right in front of a closed maximum security federal penitentiary.


Had two young guys drafting right behind me for most of the course. Dropped one of them at 6K, the other one passed me on the hill at 7K, but I passed him back with 150 meters to go. Finished three seconds ahead of him, but according to chip time, he beat me by two second. Guaranteed podium finish with only three guys in the 60-69, but I beat the second place in my AG by almost 7 minutes.


No finisher medal, but got an AG medal, so all good.
