Anaheim chilis
« on: January 24, 2013, 10:32:12 PM »
I had a recipe that called for these peppers. I sliced two of them, then DH decided that we shouldn't use them because his parents don't like spicy food. What else can I use them for? I have two sliced in a Tupperware and two whole. This may be a dumb question, but I've never used them for anything.

I use them just like you would any kind of green or red bell pepper.

If you grill or roast them they will lose some heat and gain some sweetness.  They are great in eggs, mixed in with any mixed veggie dish, etc.

They really are good with just about anything.   :)

Thanks! Maybe I'll roast them and make an omelet for DH.
